Finding Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have denied Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s involvement in the book.

They said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren’t interviewed for the book. But a lot of royal experts think otherwise.

During a recent interview, royal commentator Emily Andrew said that there could only be one reason why the Sussexes don’t admit any involvement in the book.

“A royal will always deny any involvement. That is because that is the convention, that you never openly say that you have helped. I think with Finding Freedom when we read it, you can hear Harry and Meghan’s voice,” she said.

In the documentary Meghan and Harry: The New Revelations, royal expert Russell Myers also said that he couldn’t believe Prince Harry and Markle wouldn’t have much interest in the book.

After all, there are certain lines in Finding Freedom that have potentially come from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Royal author Andrew Morton also said a similar thing. Finding Freedom, after all, reveals how frustrated the Suits alum has become a part of the royal family.

“This book is basically trying to explain how Meghan approached the Royal Family and how she was dismayed at the easy criticism of everything she tried to do. She has been frustrated by the fact that she has not been able to give her side of the story She has been frustrated that all sorts of stories have come out about her and she has not been able to answer back. It is something Meghan has found immensely frustrating,” he said.

Finding Freedom immediately became a bestseller even before it was released on Amazon. And it shed light on Prince Harry and Markle’s struggles in the royal family.

There’s on particular revelation in the book that convinced royal experts that Markle may have had a say in the book. A source said that the Sussexes were previously taken to the chamber, where Markle would select a tiara to wear for her wedding day.

After their visit, the larger items of jewelry were broken up and some of their parts were found stored in different pouches.

“The only three people in the room were Angela Kelly and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There are people who’ve worked in the palace for decades who wouldn’t have a clue about this vault. Now, it seems, everyone knows,” the source said.
