Dax Shepard had four broken ribs after the motorcycle accident. The actor spoke about the multiple injuries caused by the incident and how he is the only person one can blame.

The 45-year-old star who does a weekly podcast, Armchair Expert opened up about his injuries that require surgery. The actor has injured himself as he went on Sonoma Raceway in California.

"I was passing six guys on Sonoma Raceway on a motorcycle and I was braking very, very hard — hard enough that the back wheel was off the ground for a good 100 yards, I was totally at blame. I thought I would be able to slide in between,” the actor admitted.

The actor further said that he wasn't able to slide in as someone was already turned in. He admitted having full breaks on because of which he couldn't do anything. Shepard said that the bumper was clipped and he threw himself over the motorcycle's handle and landed on the ground.

Much to his Chagrin, the landing was extremely hard. While the accident was a bit demoralizing being his first attempt on the race track, he also received a good amount of yelling by the people working at the track.

The Employee of the Month star revealed that he accepted the difficult situation of getting yelled without any complaints as he knew was injured because of his own fault. Interestingly, the actor shared that he did want to go ahead with the motorcycle next time.

Shepard disclosed that he did return back on the track after an hour break of icing his hands and shoulder. The actor admitted that it turned out to be extremely painful the next day and ended up in an emergency room.

According to Shepard, he had to spend seven hours in the hospital and found that his four ribs were broken. He had a clavicle fracture in three spots while he has been asked by the doctors to go under surgery soon.

Shepard injured his fingers a few weeks ago, which he re-injured again during the latest incident. While the actor said that he feels guilty for not taking enough care of himself and ending up doing something alarming, the actor had no intention to quit motorcycle forever.

The father of two revealed that he might not do motorcycling in the rest of 2020, though later he is looking forward to continuing. He shared a picture of his bruises on Aug.19 on social media.
