The former President Barack Obama has been busy doing his part for Democrats to improve the odds of Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump. Obama’s political support to Biden is a derivative of 8-long years of partnership for office. Starting from assisting the presidential candidate in strategizing the campaigns to personally imploring voters to choose Biden, the former President, to some extent, seemed more active than Biden himself.

The fact of the matter is that if America is going to vote for Biden – it’s only because they are fed up with Trump’s blunders and are seriously looking for a change. The reason why Obama has been all over the Dems’ side is because of how 2016’s elections unfolded.

Donald Trump’s win over Hillary Clinton was a great upset for many in the country and 2020’s election campaigns are also gradually taking that previous familiar shape – where Hillary wasn’t a very strong candidate but seemed good enough to come out with flying colors against Trump. What happened afterward doesn’t need to be reiterated.

Pretty much like 2016’s story – Biden hasn’t struck Americans as a very driven candidate, however, Trump’s mismanagement of the virus is daunting enough for citizens to consider Biden over the president.

Notwithstanding, Obama is a bit worried that unenthusiastic voters may not show up to vote for Biden despite his lengthy political resume. That's is why he has to be in the forefront until the job is done.

Dems are trying to capitalize on Obama’s great popularity among voters in the country. According to the Fox News poll conducted in May, 93 percent of Democrats favor Obama as do 63 percent of all the voters.

The Democratic Party doesn’t have many leaders with appeal such as Obama’s. Obama, as a surrogate, is instrumental in funneling the attention of young voters to what the party has to offer, once selected. People are ready to lend their ears to Obama for more occasions than any other leader in the Democratic party.

Building on what’s been going on during the full swing of elections, it’s likely that Obama will perform as the facilitator and communicator not only in this one but also in the elections to come in the future.

Although the polls have given out encouraging results for Biden, the movement of wave may change direction any time – it is due to this that Dems are trying to lay down the foolproof campaigning strategy making use of the legacy of Barack Obama.
