The news came out that royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have moved out of their rented $17 million dollar LA home and opted to purchase their very own house in Santa Barbara, California.

The couple has been moving places and trying to get their ground on where they want to settle.

In the past, right after the couple announced that they will be stepping down from their royal duties, they first chose to live in and exclusive home in Canada but months after before the lockdowns began they flew to Los Angeles to be closer to Meghan’s mother.

The couple has one son together and now has finally settled on a place they want to officially call home, in Sta. Barbara, California.

This area is a two-hour drive from Hollywood and is a hot spot for many many big names in Hollywood. According to sources the couple who is worth a whopping $30 million dollars together chose an 18,000-square-foot home, which cost the couple $14,650,000.

Sources claim that the couple was keen on purchasing their own home after LA photographers breached their privacy.

“Harry and Meghan have been quietly living in their own home in Santa Barbara since early July. This is the first home either of them has ever owned. It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family — to have complete privacy for six weeks since they moved in” says an unnamed source.

Santa Barbara is a well-known area for big players in Hollywood and sources claim that Prince Harry and Meghan have heavy hitters as neighbors. These include Oprah Winfrey, a good friend of Meghan’s, Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Whoopi Goldberg and many more.

Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be very happy with the house they have chosen and are looking forward to raising 1-year-old Archie there surrounded by close friends.

Meghan is also rumored to have spent her birthday in their brand new home and was rumored to have spent it with Oprah. But according to sources, Meghan spent it with her husband and son Archie.

Prince Harry and Meghan are loving their new home and life in the US as they try to live a normal life away from all the hustle and bustle of their former ones. The Royal Family has given their full support on the couple's decision of leaving there senior royal duties.
