Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have proven to be one of the most sought-after members of the royal family.

In recent months, the royal couple stepped up amid the coronavirus pandemic. As such, they have received countless praises from the public.

This is, reportedly, a far cry from the public’s perfection towards Camilla decades ago. In fact, she and Prince Charles only had a small wedding because a lot of royal fans disliked Camilla back then.

Prince Charles and Camilla had an affair while the former was still married to Princess Diana. And this didn’t sit well with the fans of the Princess of Wales.

But according to New Idea, all this has changed in recent years. In fact, royal commentator Phil Dampier said that a second royal wedding would be wonderful not only for the couple and the royal family but also for the public.

If the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall’s wedding will push through, there are claims that Kate Middleton will be giving them a toast at the reception.

The reception will also be the venue where Prince William and Middleton will confirm that they’re expecting baby number four.

As for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, it’s unlikely for the royal couple to be invited to the event due to logistical reasons. The Sussexes are currently living in Los Angeles, and traveling to the United Kingdom with a 1-year-old may be difficult for them amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Dampier, Prince Charles and Camilla’s second wedding could also be the perfect venue for Camilla’s royal title to be announced.

“It would be wonderful if they renew their vows and give the nation and the Commonwealth a massive boost, There’s nothing like a royal occasion to lift spirits and take people out of the feeling of doom and gloom,” he said.

Meanwhile, royal commentator and author Simon Heffer said that it’s quite sad that Camilla only gained traction recently.

“It is sad that it has taken a national crisis of these proportions to make Britons see her unquestionable quality. She has shown compassion in shiploads,” he said.

However, it is important to note that Prince Charles and Camilla have not said anything about renewing their vows. It is unclear if this even crossed their minds.

And if it will happen, it is highly likely for Prince Harry and Markle to be there.
