Kanye West needs no introduction. The 43-year-old rapper is married to one of the world's most popular reality TV stars Kim Kardashian. While reports about the couple planning to get a divorce are doing the rounds online, West apologized to his wife for making some personal revelations about their marriage and is currently spending quality time with his wife and their children in a bid to save the marriage, but recently he made headlines for revealing why he decided to run for president.

West said his campaign is created to ruin Joe Biden's attempt to unseat Donald Trump in the impending election. The producer of Roc-A-Fella Records was exchanging texts with a Forbes editor on Thursday after reports about Republican activists backing him on the ballot in several states to facilitate Trump’s reelection to take votes away from Biden surfaced online.

Opening up about his motivation for his 2020 ambitions, the rapper said he was walking rather than running for president. He has filed paperwork in eight states to appear on the ballot, but that alone will not help him meet the Electoral College threshold, which is 270 votes.

When asked about those numbers and that his effort is likely to spoil Biden's plan to get elected as the POTUS this year, West texted back saying he was not going to argue with the Forbes editor. When the editor posed the same question again, the rapper said he is not denying it, adding that he also confirmed that.

West took to his Twitter handle last month to let his followers know that he can beat Biden off of write-About four GOP-linked campaign operatives have attempted to get West onto the ballots in several states, including key battlegrounds such as Ohio and Wisconsin, The New York Times reported.

One of the four GOP-linked campaign operatives turned out to be a Wisconsin lawyer, who was a part of the Trump campaign. The operative was recorded in dropping off signatures at an election office that would pave the way to the ballot there for West, according to Vice.

West had reportedly hired Mark Jacoby's company before this week's deadline to get on the Wisconsin ballot. Jacoby had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor after getting arrested twelve years ago citing voter fraud charges while working for the California Republican Party.

It is no secret that West support Trump. He announced his 2020 ambition on July 4 on his Twitter account. He urged the people to realize the promise of America by trusting God in his tweet.
