Toni Braxton is one of the artists who is extremely close to the family, especially to the siblings. While Braxton values the family before anything, she took social media on July 29 to express her concern for Tamar. Toni shared a picture on Instagram in which she is posing with her family.

Toni captioned the picture and called her family being everything. However, she emphasized on the sisters in the next line. As soon as the throwback snap went on the social media, Toni's comment section was flooded with best wishes for the entire family and Tamar.

Toni posted the picture after a few days of Trina, Traci, and Towanda Braxton mentioned about Tamar's health issues due to which she has been hospitalized. Tamar's boyfriend, David Adefeso, reportedly, informed that the 43-year-old star is unresponsive.

The couple was quarantined together in Los Angeles at Ritz-Carlton Residences. She was immediately moved to the hospital in Los Angeles that helped her get in touch with top specialists. Reportedly, Tamar was needed more treatment regarding her mental health.

Adefeso thanked everyone for praying and shared an update about Tamar's health. He gave a statement to The Blast and said that Tamar is an extremely talented person, a loving girlfriend, and a good mother, special friend, and a caring sister.

Her boyfriend disclosed that she has been struggling with her personal and professional life and as a result depression is one of the biggest battles.

"Tamar is currently receiving the best available medical attention to address those struggles and strengthen her mental health, and her family and I will remain by her side throughout her treatment. Mental health is a common issue, affecting 1 in 5 Americans,” Adefeso added.

The 49-year-old businessman requested everyone to keep Tamar in their prayers and he is hopeful that she will recover soon. Given that, Adefeso asked for privacy for her family as this time is crucial for recovering.

In an interview with ET, Tamar mentioned about staying in touch with her family during the lockdown. She explained everyone comes on FaceTime or Zoom call, which turns out to be fun. She revealed that it is tough for her as she hasn’t met her mother over the past three months.

Tamar spoke about her elder sister, Toni during the interview and said that she was unable to get physically close to her because of COVID-19 while she is also suffering from lupus. However, Tamar seems hopeful about the pandemic helping people with perspective.
