Lisa Rinna is facing strong criticism on social media. The RHOBH star has never shied away from talking about her co-stars and now netizens are taking advantage of the situation to take jabs at her. Rinna's younger daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin recently revealed that she was being forced by her mother to film the show.

Rinna, who made her appearance on RHOBH in season 5, has a reputation for being an open book. The controversy-plagued Bravo star even allows cameras into her house where she gives viewers a brief glimpse of her life with her daughters and husband Harry Hamlin.

Her younger daughter Gray Hamlin has openly spoken about her battle with an eating disorder over the years. She has opened up about the struggles she encounters while living with it, and was deemed brave for talking about her struggles and telling her stories to millions of people.

Earlier rumors doing the rounds online suggested that she went as far as lying about suffering from anorexia in a bid to get more air time on the reality show aired on Bravo. Gray Hamlin responded to these speculations that were floating around social media.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Gray Hamlin fired back at her critics. Admitting that she usually refrains from posing such messages, Gray Hamlin said the rumors about her mental illness really got to her. She said mental illness isn't something she would lie about and hopes that nobody else does either.

She expressed frustration about being accused of lying about her struggles with anorexia to acquire more air time. She vented out saying she is being forced to be on the Housewives by her mom, adding that she couldn't care less about air time and that's the last thing she wants to do.

A screencap of her IG Story was later shared on Twitter by Queens of Bravo. RHOBH fans took to the social media platform to react to Gray Hamlin’s remarks, with most of the harsh comments targetted at her mother Rinna. A Twitterati accused Rinna of claiming to share her own life, but she exploits her own daughter for money, giving viewers easy access to her daughter's problems.

The Twitter user went on to say Rinna will backstab or even play Judas for money. Another viewer said it looked like Amelia may have worded that sentence wrong, adding that Rinna could have encouraged her to appear on the show so that she would get more followers, modeling assignments, and a fashion line.

The user said Rinna probably wants to encourage her daughters to be Gigi and Bella Hadid, noting that her message didn't come outright. Gray Hamlin returned to Instagram in an attempt to clear up her earlier statement, asking her followers if they would want to be on national television at 12 on her first post.

In her second post, she admitted that she said no to something she knew nothing about, noting that her mom encouraged her to do so. She pointed out that it has been six years, and she could have stopped filming long ago, and asked netizens to chill.

She realizes that telling her story in front of the cameras is likely to help other people in the same situation to come to terms with their issues to seek help. She also clarified that she hasn't stopped filming because she has a story to tell, to help people. She also noted that she loves all the women in the show and love them.
