Prince Charles’ alleged secret love child, India Hicks, is, reportedly, living the life in the Bahamas.

New Idea published the misleading headline about Hicks in this week’s issue. They said that Hicks was dubbed as Prince Charles’ secret love child. However, there’s no explanation as to why this was the case.

The tabloid also said that Hicks is Prince Charles’ goddaughter. And the two are quite close and they are regularly in touch with each other.

Royal commentator Phil Dampier talked about Prince Charles and Hicks’ relationship by saying that the former has a soft spot for the latter.

“Although India has lived in the Bahamas for many years she keeps in constant touch with Charles and speaks to him often. They share the same sense of humor and he loves her free spirit. Charles will always be close to India,” Dampier said.

In 2018, Hicks spoke with Town & Country about her relationship with the heir to the throne. She said that Prince Charles is a remarkable godfather because he’s caring, considerate, and involved. Hicks also said that she’s always adored Prince Charles.

She also said that Prince Charles would always send her birthday and Christmas cards signed with hilarious statements. When she was younger, Prince Charles used to sign the letters with “from your loving Godfather Charles.”

And as Hicks got older, Prince Charles signed the cards with, “your old Godfather Charles” and “your ancient Godfather Charles.” Hicks said that Prince Charles is far from ancient even though he’s already in his 70s.

However, Hicks never mentioned anything about her being Prince Charles’ love child. And if she is, this kind of news should’ve already made headlines decades ago.

This is not the only time that New Idea published a misleading headline about the members of the royal family. Last week, the tabloid claimed that Prince Harry was feeling desperate and he asked Kate Middleton for help.

Two weeks ago, the tabloid claimed that Meghan Markle threatened Queen Elizabeth by saying that she will no longer see Archie. And earlier in July, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, allegedly, had a secret split.

But upon closer inspection, the tabloid was saying that Prince Harry traveled back to the United Kingdom so he spent a few days away from his wife.

However, none of the tabloid’s claims are accurate. As such, they should always be taken with a grain of salt.
