William Bruce Jenner’s controversy-plagued transition into Caitlyn Jenner led to a lot of problems in the lives of Kris Jenner, who shared a family with the former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. Caitlyn's transformation and the impact it had on the lives of those associated with her was documented on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Following their divorce, the former couple continued to maintain a civil relationship, but that changed after Caitlyn's tell-all memoir dubbed The Secrets of My Life. After the memoir was released in 2017, Kris opened up about how upset she was over her ex-husband's claims in one of the episodes of KUWTK.

This spoilt Jenner's relationship with Kris, and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. But much to her delight, Jenner's relationship with one of the influential family's lesser famous children is stronger than before. Keeping in line with that, one of her daughters has admitted that she feels closer to Caitlyn than she did before her transition.

Caitlyn Jenner, who is an award-winning Olympic athlete, is now more popular as being Kris Jenner's ex. The former couple has two daughters, Kendall and Kylie together, and Caitlyn even helped Kris take care of her children from a previous marriage.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is one of the world's most popular families, and this popularity has been absorbed by Caitlyn as well. Before announcing her transition into a woman in 2015, Caitlyn had gone by Bruce Jenner, but she mustered the courage to reveal her true gender identity to the world.

Not all of her children are in the public eye as reality TV stars. All of her children had different reactions to her transition, but her eldest daughter - with her first wife Chrystie Scott - Cassandra Marino has admitted that Jenner's transition has, in fact, brought them closer together than ever before.

During an interview with PEOPLE in 2016, Marino revealed that they did not talk for years, but now they see each other on a regular basis and talk on the phone, adding that she is grateful for that. Marino noted that she was happier and more appreciative of her family.

She also pointed out that Caitlyn is trying harder and has a softness, which Bruce lacked. She attributed the change in Caitlyn's attitude to her being happier. According to Showbiz CheatSheet, Marino knew about Jenner’s gender identity for a long time, including that she started taking hormonal replacements in the 1980s, and Chrystie told her children about it.
