Lea Michele, who continues to remain tight-lipped about actress Naya Rivera’s disappearance recently deleted her Twitter account, with fans suspecting she was forced by troller and bullies to leave the social media platform. The search for Rivera has reached its fifth day and Twitter users have directed truly horrific bullying towards Michele.

Michele hasn't deactivated her Instagram account, which is teeming with comments on her latest post that focuses on allegations from May that she bullied her co-star throughout her career. The comment section is a combination of the aforesaid situation and the adverse results of Rivera's disappearance that some fans claim are the root of the pregnant Michele deleting her Twitter feed without any explanation.

The cancel culture has been chasing her for more than a month now, and with the birth of her child just around the corner, the 33-year-old actress is likely to be feeling overwhelmed by all the hatred thrown at her. With Rivera's sudden disappearance and Michele's silence about the incident involving the actress who starred with her for seven seasons has led to intensified attacks against her.

Some people have gone as far as accusing Michele of being behind Rivera's disappearance, but several others have come to her defense. Being trolled on social media can prove to be awful for anyone, especially for Michele who was already facing strong criticism for allegedly bullying her costars including Rivera.

It is understandably that Michele has opted to remain mum about Rivera's disappearance, given that she would be hesitant to say anything about her after she has gone missing and is presumed drowned, even if she wanted to. Authorities have intensified search and rescue efforts after Rivera's son Josey Hollis Dorsey, 4, was found alone on a boat the actress had rented on July 8.

Last week, authorities admitted that there is little hope that Rivera was still alive. On July 12, TMZ reported that the Ventura County's search for the actress will continue daily, but with lower intensity than it has been at these past few days. The outlet reported that the authorities will be searching the cabins to the north of the lake where Rivera disappeared in response to a Twitter frenzy that advised them to search the area.

After Lea's Twitter deactivation, Amber Riley took to the social media platform and tweeted a message that Twitter users say was posted in reference to Michele. Riley urged people to show some respect and urged them to focus their energies towards helping find Naya and praying for her safe return.

She went on to say that no one on social media owes anybody online performance of grief. Riley advised them to focus on Naya, rather than others including Michele, adding that they do not matter at the moment.
