Charlize Theron treated her fans as she appeared on Today's morning talk show. Theron shared her personal life details amid pandemic and revealed her upcoming project. The 44-year-old actress is the mother of two kids, one of them she adopted in 2012 named Jackson.

The actress adopted the first child before she began to shoot for Mad Max: Fury Road. A few weeks ago, Theron shared a picture on Instagram in which she is covering her daughter's face with a heart emoji. The actress seemed to be a thoughtful mother who wanted to protect her daughter's privacy.

“I became a mom right before we started shooting. At least my child will forever have the fun fact of ‘I spent most of the first year of my life in a war rig’ (special appearance by my incredible costumer Inge Hough),” she wrote as a caption.

The Fast and Furious 8 star adopted her second child in 2015 named August. Now, both the kids are 8-year-old and 4-year-old, respectively. Theron revealed that she is having fun with her children at home during the ongoing pandemic.

In a conversation with Hoda Kotb, Theron mentioned the fun activities, home learning, and welcoming a new furry member to their family. The actress also teased the fans with an upcoming fantasy film, The Old Guard on Netflix.

Theron spoke about parenting while maintaining social distancing due to coronavirus. She acknowledged being fortunate for not contracting with the virus directly. However, the actress said that she doesn't wear her bottoms anymore.

The Bombshell actress explained that she and her kids love to swim and as a result, pants have become optional. She further disclosed their activities involve cooking, playing hide and seek, and so on. Besides having fun with the spare time, Theron seems to be an active parent who takes homeschooling seriously.

However, during the homeschooling session, the actress figured out that she is not good at solving math problems. She admitted that there is a lot of pressure when it comes to homeschooling. Theron clarified that she respect teachers but now, the respect has been increased to the next level.

The star is open about her love for animals and shared adorable pictures of her pets on Instagram. Theron shared an incident when she was teaching her son Jackson math while her daughter August was downstairs. She jokingly said that it was a miracle her house didn't burn down.
