The former reality TV star made her Vogue Arabia cover debut for the July/Aug. issue, which focused on her decision to leave Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kourtney Kardashian is touted as one of the Kardashian-Jenner clan's beloved members so KUWTK fans were understandably surprised when she left the hit reality television series. The popular media personality attributed her decision to leave the show to having a toxic time while shooting the show.

In her cover interview of Vogue Arabia, Kourtney opened up about leaving the show, noting that she has been filming it non-stop for 13 years, which translates to 19 seasons, as well as six spin-off seasons. The socialite told the magazine that she was feeling unfulfilled and to make things worse, the environment became toxic for her to continue being a part of the show.

In a season 18 confessional, which aired earlier this year, Kourtney looked at the KUWTK cameras and said she was restricting her appearance on the show. She told the cameras that she is taking a big step back from shooting and will choose what she will allow being filmed.

She went on to explain that she would allow the cameras to follow only what she thinks is interesting enough to film, or something she feels excited to film. Her Vogue Arabia cover features her handwriting that reads, "The power of reclaiming yourself. Kourtney Kardashian sets free."

The step back has allowed the Poosh.com founder to spend more time with her kids and family. Kourtney said she usually reserves one day on the weekend when they do no plan anything, but simply hang out at the house wearing pajamas or sweats, according to The News.

Kourtney said she spends the day by sleeping in, and admitted that it feels nice to not be on a schedule on that day. Opening up about her attempt to stay fit after the birth of her son, Kourtney said she began learning about what we feed our bodies with, stating that it was like a snowball effect and she can't unlearn that information now.

Pointing out that a lot of people would approach her with questions about her lifestyle or why she believed in something, Kourtney said she wasn't afraid of wrinkles or getting old. Although she takes the best care of her skin to keep it functioning optimally, Kourtney said getting wrinkles is part of getting older.
