Is there truth to the news that Angelina Jolie is keeping Maddox from her ex-husband Brad Pitt? Rumors are circulating that award-winning actress has taken her son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, to South Korea so that he won't see his father, Brad Pitt.

This was reported by Mirror UK, but it seems that this is not true at all.  In fact, 18-year-old Maddox is back in the US from South Korea.

Fans of the Jolie-Pitt brood will remember that the oldest of the children, Maddox, is actually studying at Yonsei University. He will be studying biochemistry in one of the most prestigious universities in the country. But due to the spread of coronavirus all over the world, the freshman's studies have been postponed. Page Six reports that though he has gone back to the U.S., Maddox continues to study Russian and Korea.

As for the rumors that Jolie is prohibiting Pitt from seeing his children, sources say that this is again untrue. In fact, even though the kids are practicing social distancing and just staying at home, they are still able to see their father regularly. They also spend time doing schoolwork and just having fun with each other.

As for Brad Pitt and Maddox, many are wondering if their relationship is going well. They have been on the outs since 2016 when they had a heated confrontation while on a private flight.

Apparently, Brad was arguing with Angelina and Maddox felt the need to step in and defend his mother. There were rumors that Brad may have hurt his son physically during the fight. But he was cleared of any child abuse claims when an investigation was made.

Shortly after that incident, the couple filed for divorce and Jolie was given physical custody of their children  Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Just recently, it seems that Brad and Maddox are on their way to mending their relationship. There was even a rumor that Brad did not attend the BAFTAs in order to bond with his eldest son.

Meanwhile, Angelina has been keeping herself busy. The UN special envoy just donated $1 million dollars to No Kid Hungry which aims to provide food for families that have a low income. She wants to make sure that every child will be fed. Given that many schools have closed, there are children who are not able to get nutrition as they can no longer rely on food support.
