It seems that Paul Rudd is doing an excellent job to keep secrets about his upcoming Marvel movie, Ant-Man 3. However, in an interview with Chris Evans, Rudd spilled some updates about his third solo film with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In this interview, both the actors spoke about Ant-Man 3 and why Marvel has been extremely successful to create movies over the past decade that kept audience engaged. Evans launched his debut in 2011 with MCU movie, Captain America: The First Avenger.

The 39-year-old actor went on to play the character of Captain America in two more solo movies as well as many crossover movies. Although Evans led his way into the MCU, Captain America retired in the Avengers: Endgame.

It seems the actor is not expecting to come back as Steve Rogers in future projects of MCU, despite there have been rumors about him returning back in one way or the other. Recently, both the actors talked to each other about playing important characters, respectively. During the interview, the conversation took a turn towards the next Marvel project in which Rudd is playing Ant-Man.

Evans tried to get some details out of Rudd and asked if Ant-Man 3 was moving forward to which Rudd responded, “That’s the idea. I don’t know what I’m supposed to say or what I’m not supposed to say but with this quarantine who even knows anything anymore?”

Unfortunately, Rudd was successful to not reveal anything much about the project despite Evans tricky questions. However, Michael Douglas had already teased the news that the film will release soon and it is being directed by Peyton Reed.

The production of the 51-year-old actor was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Hollywood is planning to start resuming the film taking the safety precautions, it is expected that the project will get back on the track soon.

Considering the plot, the movie is expected to have MODOK as the main villain in the upcoming installment of the Ant-Man series. While Marvel has not confirmed this plotline, the movie will premiere in 2023 which means the creators have enough time to make changes.

Rudd shared in the interview about his experience of landing into the role. He told that he felt similar pressure as Evans did, the reason for his pressure was being a "weak link" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Initially, when he explained his character to his family and friends, they laughed at the idea which made worse for him.
