Prince Philip was, recently, photographed driving around Windsor Castle months after his license got revoked.

In the snaps, the Duke of Edinburgh looks as healthy as ever. And he also seems well-rested. Prince Philip has been self-quarantining with Queen Elizabeth in Windsor Castle since March.

Prince Philip is sitting behind the wheels, and he looks relaxed while driving around at the age of 99.

Roya Nikkah told True Royalty TV last week that Prince Philip wasn’t driving a car, which means that he is not violating anything. She said that the dad of four must have been driving the queen’s golf buggies to get around the castle grounds.

Since Prince Philip isn’t also driving on the public roads, he is not posing any danger or threat to other motorists.

Months ago, the Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a minor car accident outside Sandringham. Luckily for the queen’s husband, he didn’t get injured.

Shortly after, Prince Philip surrendered his driver’s license. But Buckingham Palace confirmed that he was still allowed to drive on private royal estates in accordance with all relevant regulations.

Earlier this month, Prince Philip celebrated his 99th birthday with his wife at Windsor Castle. The dad of four didn’t have a huge celebration because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Duke of Edinburgh also made headlines this week amid claims that Kate Middleton is a bit like him because they are both known for supporting their respective spouses.

While speaking with People magazine, royal author Penny Junor said that even though Middleton has a lot of say, she doesn’t overshadow the queen or Prince William. It is possible that the Duchess of Cambridge is aware of how overshadowing each other became an issue to Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Royal author Sarah Gristwood also said that Middleton has been a wonderful support system for Prince William. In a sense, the royal couple’s modern royal marriage is a love match made in heaven.

“But in another, it has been old-fashioned. She mostly appears as a supportive figure to her husband,” she said.

Prince William and Middleton have been married for nine years. The royal couple recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary at home with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The queen and Prince Philip, on the other hand, have been married for over seven decades.
