Bill Burr is a famous comic and actor who is known for his comedy specials performed as a standup along with his Netflix series F is For Family, which is a smashing hit.

The comedian has a huge fan following who is devoted to his sarcastic and acerbic humor while the comedian has made headlines because of it several times and riffing Star Wars. Recently, the 52-year-old stand-up comedian proved his truly sharp, ironic humor style and appeared in The Mandalorian.

This is a hot new Star Wars series produced by Disney+ and Burr’s fans might get surprised because of the unique humorous connection the comedian has with the series and yet he sly his way to do the cameo.

Burr has a signature style of comedy which is quite similar to other comedians such as Lewis Black and even he has become popular because of his "ranting-style". The Paper Tiger standup artist has slammed notoriously the popular franchise of Star Wars in his rants and those ranting haven't always gone right with his fans.

However, the comedian seemed took a step back on his hate-rant for the Star Wars series for the sake of his recent acting project. According to the report, Burr recently opened up about he scored the coveted role in this historical series, which he used to rant about in his standup specials.

The comedian disclosed that he met actor Jon Favreau through a mutual friend named Mike Binder. After he met Favreau, it was the director who pitched the idea to Burr about this character as he would love to get Burr featured in The Mandalorian.

Although initially, Burr hesitated to accept this role because his fans would get angry at Favreau for involving him in this series but Favreau eventually convinced him by saying, “I think your fans will get a kick out of it if you were in it.”

Burr agreed on this statement and was brought on the board to play Mayfield's character. Burr did a fantastic job in portraying the character of an assassin and later he admitted that he never really disliked Star Wars and did all the jokes just to poke at the franchise to get the laughs.

In 2019, the Star Wars franchise decided to introduce the latest addition of Disney+, The Mandalorian, which is a "Space Western". When the series was premiered, it added a big boost in the fandom of Burr and Star Wars that experienced great controversy.
