Groundless murder of George Floyd has triggered nation-wide protests and demands for racial justice. While some celebrities actively protesting through their social media handles, some are taking to the streets to participate in the peaceful protest to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

Several stars are helping in different ways and spreading the word with hashtag #BlackLivesMatter to educate everyone. Some celebrities are even apologizing for their own mistakes. However, Ryan Reynolds who is popular for his Deadpool portrayal also jumped on the protest bandwagon and highlighted the longtime raging racism in an official statement that was posted on his Instagram account.

Reynolds wrote on social media that no one should be worried about preparing their kids for different rules and regulations or be afraid of what might go wrong if their kids are being pulled out of their cars. Reynolds admitted that he doesn't know how it would feel to have such an experience daily to be treated differently.

Deadpool star also said that it is unimaginable to even think of this kind of anger and fear, he wrote, "We’re ashamed". He also addressed the issue of being uninformed about this "systemic racism" that has been deeply rooted in society.

The Proposal star took his Twitter account to wrote about his contribution of $200,000 to the Legal Defense Fund and he is in awe of this organization's leadership and empathy in the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. He further added about their work which involves the integrity of democracy is essential.

After the tweet, fans couldn't resist but to shower all the praises for the Free Guy star. One of the fans wrote that just when they thought they couldn't love you anymore with the hashtag of #blacklivesmatter, the other one said you are just perfect while some fans addressed him as a hailed him as a "king".

Many fans thanked the star for using his platform to speak about racism as one of the fans wrote about his personal experience that reads, “The world is why I’m scared to have kids," later the fan admitted that there is still hope because of what the new generation is doing, the world might become a better place.

Considering the actor's contribution to coronavirus, one of the fans praised the star for his work and said how it’s a difficult time while stepping up we can get better. One fan wrote about how Reynolds should add "Black Lives Matter" into his post and it would mean a lot to the movement.
