Hollywood's famed cowboy, Kevin Costner, reportedly worth a staggering $250 million, finds himself fretting over his bank balance in the wake of his impending divorce with wife Christine Baumgartner, insiders reveal.

Despite having a prenuptial agreement in place prior to their 2004 nuptials, Costner remains anxious about the forthcoming financial implications of the divorce settlement, according to sources close to the situation. The settlement is expected to include substantial spousal and child support payouts, prompting Costner to take a more frugal approach to his finances.

As per the terms of their prenuptial agreement, Christine will no longer have access to any of the three properties owned by the 68-year-old actor. However, Costner will be required to purchase a new residence for her in the vicinity of their primary Ventura, California home to ensure the continuity of schooling for their children, Cayden, Hayes, and Grace.

Sources suggest Costner will need to rein in his expenses and adopt a more austere lifestyle. Extravagant spending on non-essential luxuries, such as high-end hairdressing and vehicular detailing, is anticipated to cease.

Costner's financial concern likely stems from his previous divorce from Cindy Silva, his college sweetheart and mother to his older children. That split in 1994 cost him a hefty $80 million, making it one of Hollywood's most expensive divorces at the time.

"Undeniably, this divorce will take a financial toll on him as well," says a source. "Christine endured a lot over their married years. She grew increasingly discontented with Kevin's prolonged work-related absences and finally decided she had enough. Kevin's not known for his easy-going nature, which presumably influenced her decision."

However, insiders suggest Costner was "caught off guard" by the divorce filing, coinciding with challenging negotiations over scheduling and time off with the team behind 'Yellowstone.' Interestingly, the breakdown of Costner's marriage coincided with the show's conclusion after five successful seasons.

The source added, "He's dealing with criticism for the show's premature end while simultaneously battling with divorce proceedings. Known for his somewhat aloof persona, this predicament is likely to make him even more cantankerous."
