Following recent sightings of the rekindled couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck appearing to be in tense situations, there are reports that the multi-talented Lopez is apprehensive about the impact of media pressure on their relationship. The couple, who reconnected in 2021 after nearly two decades apart, have acknowledged the media's influence on their previous separation.

Despite the couple's insistence that their relationship is currently stable, some public instances have hinted at possible strain. Recently, Affleck was seen abruptly shutting a car door while being filmed, an incident that followed what appeared to be a heated exchange between the two on the red carpet of Lopez's latest film, "The Mother."

Body language expert Judi James provided her insights on the couple's dynamic, suggesting that Lopez might be fearful of a repeat of the past due to the press. Speaking to Mirror, James said, "Their previous split left Jennifer 'heartbroken' and she did suggest that 'being under siege' from the press caused a problem for them as a couple...".

James noted that while some of Affleck's actions might appear dramatic, his irritation may be directed more towards the photographers than towards Lopez. She added, "The worry is if he is again finding being 'under siege' difficult, which could, in turn, worry Jennifer..."

However, she also highlighted the possibility of these instances being misconstrued or taken "out of context."

Lopez and Affleck initially dated in the early 2000s, calling off their engagement in 2004. Their paths diverged, leading them to separate marriages. However, they found their way back to each other in 2021, following Lopez's broken engagement to Alex Rodriguez, and eventually tied the knot in July 2022.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Lopez voiced her faith in their second chance, stating, "I don't think we would have got back together if we thought that was where it was headed...". She attributed their current balance and discretion in sharing their lives as the fruits of experience and wisdom gained over the years.

In a prior interview with People, Lopez expressed their evolved approach towards their relationship, stating, "We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now...". She affirmed their shared protective stance to safeguard this "beautiful time" for them.
