Hunter Biden's ex, Lunden Roberts, is requesting permission to call upon an expert familiar with the controversial first son's notorious laptop in their ongoing child support dispute, according to information obtained by RadarOnline.com.

Court documents reveal that Lunden accused Hunter of trying to prevent testimony from former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler. In a recent hearing, Hunter's attorney, Brent Langdon, disclosed Lunden's intention to summon Garrett as an expert witness.

Having previously served as an aide in the Trump White House, Ziegler claims expertise on the contents of Hunter's infamous laptop, which allegedly contains some of his financial records.

Hunter's lawyer argued that Ziegler is not a qualified expert, stating, "My concern is that I am handing the discovery over to Ziegler, who I do not believe is an expert qualified in this case and therefore would not be entitled to obtain the records."

Hunter requested that Garrett be disallowed as an expert, asserting that the former Trump aide was at "war" with him and accusing him of defaming his parenting abilities. Additionally, Hunter sought a temporary restraining order to prevent Garrett from discussing his purported financial records.

The judge denied the restraining order request, asserting that an expert's qualifications would be determined later and that he could not impose a gag order on the entire world. The issue of Garrett as a witness will be addressed at the next hearing in May, which Hunter has been ordered to attend in person.

In new court filings, Lunden contested Hunter's request and insisted that Garrett be permitted to testify as an expert. She submitted a declaration from Garrett, who stated, "My expertise is related to the lifestyle, person, and financial transactions related to Mr. Biden."

Garrett claims to have "spent years studying Hunter Biden, including his spending habits, employment, property ownership, and the locations in which he has stored assets."

Lunden sued Hunter in 2019 to establish paternity and seek support for their daughter, Navy Roberts. The pair reached an agreement in March 2020. Last year, Hunter returned to court requesting a reduction in his monthly child support payments.

Recently, Lunden demanded that Hunter be incarcerated for refusing to provide information in the case. A judge is set to rule on that motion next week.
