Uncertainty Over Injury's Origin It remains unclear when the singer sustained the injury, but some fans speculate it occurred between her "Folklore" and "Reputation" sets. Before appearing on stage in her recognizable black-and-red snake outfit, Swift's hand seemed to be unharmed.

A fan noted, "Her wrist is fine by the end of 'Tolerate It,' and by the time she walks down the stage for ['...Ready For It?'] you see the blood near her palm."

Other fans expressed their concern, with one commenting, "The cut is so deep from both sides!" Another asked for an explanation about what happened to Swift's hand during the Houston Eras Tour performance.

Taylor Swift Addresses Fans' Concerns The "Lavender Haze" singer, well aware of her fans' online presence, knew her injury would prompt concern. After the concert, she posted photos from the performance on social media, writing, "Loving this tour so much because of the passion these crowds put into it all - seriously can't wait for Atlanta."

Swift then explained the cause of the injury and reassured fans of her well-being: "PS for those asking how I cut my hand, I'm totally fine and it was my fault completely - tripped on my dress hem and fell in the dark backstage while running to a quick change - braced my fall with my palm."

She added, jokingly, "It was all very Mercury in retrograde coded. Don't worry about me; I'm good."
