Popularly known by his ring name, "The Rock," Dwayne Johnson took to social media to share his thoughts about the ongoing protests across the United States in the form of a video. The former WWE superstar slammed Donald Trump in the video for his response to the protests triggered by the murder of George Floyd while he was in police custody.

Johnson joined the list of several other actors that have either protested or spoke out in support of America's black community after Floyd's death sparked inveigh against police brutality that turned violent in some parts of America. To quell protesters, President Trump has urged state governments to deploy more police and promoted the need to renew law and order.

On Jun. 3, Johnson took to his Instagram account, where he posted a nearly 8 and a half minute long video wherein he delivered a heartwarming speech. The actor urged the president to up the ante and spearhead the nation with compassion without mentioning Trump by name.

Without naming Trump, he asked where the leader of the country is at this time, when the entire country is affected with long-standing pain, begging, angry, pleading, frustrated, and down on its knees just wanting to be heard. In the video, he said the country's compassionate leader has to step up to the country and extend a hand, helping it to stand back up with him, comforting the people that he has got their backs and that he hears them and is listening to them.

Johnson said the leader needs to come out and assure the people that he will do everything in his power, till his dying day, to his last breath to do everything he can to bring about the much-needed change and to normalize equality, adding that black lives matter. The Hercules star urged people to stop saying that all lives matter and understand the rallying cry black lives matter.

Explaining his remark, Johnson noted that all lives matter because Americans support inclusivity and acceptance, and strongly believe in human rights, as well as equality for all. At the moment, Johnson added, America is down on its knees as the floorboards of the country continue to become unhinged, which is why people must say black lives matter.

Johnson even slammed the use of military forces on people demanding justice for George Floyd, while saying it makes sense to adopt this method when it comes to dealing with criminals and looters, but not the protesters who are in pain. He said all that the people in pain need to hear is that someone cares about them and is listening to them.
