Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston got engaged barely five months after they started dating. However, it was reported that the couple waited for some time before consummating their romance. 

 

The Troy star and the Friends alum are synonymous with good looks, great charisma, and successful careers. Fans regarded their union as a match made in heaven.

 

The couple’s agents set them up on a date in 1998 and sparks flew instantly. The 51-year-old actress reportedly said both of them immediately knew they have found someone special in their lives. 

 

It was not long before the two met again in her two-bedroom bachelorette pad in Hollywood. Jen called her pad “a little love nest.” They had a cozy time in her little house, sitting on her couch and feasting on mashed potatoes and steak. 

 

The actress revealed in an interview that is how things started between Pitt and her. She said it was like a premonition and she felt as if she was hanging out with her “buddy.” 

 

It was quite obvious that they were completely besotted with each other. Brad Pitt popped up the all-important question only a few months later. However, they decided not to share the news with the world then.

 

Jennifer Aniston said it was fun to live with their secret. However, unlike a majority of the newly engaged couple, Jen spurned her boyfriend’s advances for as long as nine months. According to an unnamed source, Jen was apprehensive that being intimate with him too early could spoil their relationship, The Mirror reports. 

 

A pal insisted at the time that it was perhaps the “wisest thing” done by Jen at that point. After all, there is hardly any woman who can resist Pitt’s charms, and The Morning Show star reportedly succeeded in doing so.

 

Eventually, the couple consummated their romance during a weekend on Valentine’s Day 1999, which was only a few months before they exchanged vows. The same friend added that Pitt found her simply “irresistible.”

 

Even Pitt had opened up once about their physical compatibility. He confessed to having only one thought in his mind when he fitted the bathroom of his Beverly Hills home with a huge marble bathroom. 

 

The Hollywood hunk said in a candid interview of having a “dirty mind” then. However, the duo had a breakup in 2005 after the actor fell for Angelina Jolie while shooting together for Mr. and Mrs. Smith. 

 

Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston recalled in an interview in 2006 that she went up to Angelina Jolie and introduced herself when the latter appeared on the sets of her sitcom Friends while she was still married to Brad Pitt. She told Jolie that Pitt was excited to be acting with her, Republic World reports.
