Sources claim that Prince Harry is relentlessly seeking new financial opportunities to satisfy his wife Meghan's extravagant aspirations, fearing she may leave him if he fails to deliver the luxurious lifestyle she desires, according to the American tabloid National Enquirer.

"Harry is terrified of losing Meghan," discloses a well-informed royal insider.

In a startling revelation, Harry confessed that during a heated argument, Meghan threatened to leave him after he reacted with excessive anger. "Everything in the room came to a halt" as Meghan declared she would not tolerate being addressed in such a manner, Harry recalls. "I needed that pushback and the thought of losing her."

This confrontation led to Harry's determination to ensure Meghan enjoys the opulent lifestyle she craves, regardless of the cost, according to royal sources.

Despite their waning popularity, Prince Harry has resorted to charging for access to events such as his virtual psychotherapy session with the controversial mental health expert Gabor Maté, which took place on March 4. The prince has been criticized for claiming to want privacy while simultaneously seeking the limelight to generate additional income. "His marriage may depend on it," says the source.

Royal author Tom Bower reveals that Meghan, 41, was both "surprised" and "disappointed" to discover that Harry, 38, had limited financial resources when they married. "She imagined he'd be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions!" Bower elaborates. "She wants to ride in big Cadillacs, private jets on command. At the moment, she needs to scrounge for those sorts of things" from wealthy friends.

The Sussexes are believed to have lost $5.5 million in royal income when they stepped down from their duties in 2020. However, they recouped those losses through a six-part Netflix documentary series, a $100 million production deal, and Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare, which garnered a $20 million contract with Penguin Random House. Additionally, they received a $30 million podcast deal from Spotify.

"It sounds like a lot of dough, but the Sussexes have massive expenses -and Meghan has expensive ambitions," says the senior royal source. The couple's financial burdens include the mortgage on their $14 million Montecito mansion, hefty maintenance bills, and an annual security expenditure of more than $2 million to protect themselves and their children, Archie and Lilibet. Taxes also consume a significant portion of their income.

According to the source, Meghan has her sights set on a larger home and a private plane, despite the couple's advocacy for environmental conservation. "If the Kardashians can have personal jets, Meghan wants that, too. She's gunning for billionaire status and pushing Harry to cash in while they can!"

Another source suggests that Meghan believed she had struck gold when she married Harry, only to be disappointed to learn that he was worth a mere $30 million, primarily inherited from his late mother, Princess Diana. "It's hard to believe she never googled Harry - as she claims - before committing to marrying him!" the source remarks.

However, Meghan appears to believe that their controversial ventures will lead to even greater opportunities. "It's up to Harry to get them done and nothing is off the table if it bolsters their bank account. I'm told he's deathly afraid of the consequence if the family's financial faucet dries up. Meghan has a history of loving and leaving guys when they no longer serve her purpose. Just ask her ex-husband and Canadian fiancé!"
