Selena Gomez is leaving social media for a while.

On Thursday, the 30-year-old celebrity went live on TikTok to announce her “break” from social media. It comes after she made headlines for the drama involving Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner.

In its report, Entertainment Tonight quoted Gomez from the since-ended live video, saying, “I’m very happy. I’m so blessed. I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn’t be happier. I’m good. I love who I am. I don’t care. I’m big. I’m not. I don’t care. I love who I am,” before adding, “And yeah, I’m gonna be taking a second from social media, ‘cause this is a little silly.”

The “Only Murders In The Building” actress is also said to have noted that she is “too old for this,” after pointing out that she is 30.

In the end, she said, “But I love you guys so much. And I will see you guys sooner than later,” adding, “I’m gonna just take a break from everything,” as per the outlet.

Thursday’s announcement from Selena Gomez comes after what reports called the comment drama involving Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber.

E! News recalled in a recent report that the “Lose You To Love Me” singer posted a video of herself via Instagram on Tuesday, revealing she “accidentally laminated” her eyebrows too much.

The outlet continued that Kylie Jenner took to the same platform a photo of herself with the text, “this was an accident???” over her eyebrows. Also, she shared a screenshot of her and Hailey Bieber as they seemingly chatted on FaceTime, with the snap focusing on their brows.

Netizens reportedly theorized that the reality star’s posts were a jab at Selena Gomez. But, the former addressed the matter and dismissed the speculations on Wednesday, writing in a comment section of a TikTok post, “This is reaching.”

Jenner continued, “No shade towards selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly,” as per the outlet.

Gomez is said to have later responded to the makeup mogul in the same comments section, writing, “Agreed @kyliejenner it’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”

The following day, however, a video showing Hailey Bieber pretending to gag after hearing Taylor Swift’s name, a best friend to the Rare Beauty founder, resurfaced on TikTok, according to a separate report from E! News.

Selena Gomez is then said to have come to her best friend’s defense, writing in the comments section of the post in question, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”
