Many celebs have been raising their voice regarding the shameful incident happened with George Floyd. Priyanka Chopra also stepped forth and spoke about George Floyd, who faced racial injustice.

However, many users didn't like Priyanka Chopra's statement shared on Instagram and labeled her as a “hypocrite” considering her silence when minorities use to get ill-treated in India. Looking at Quantico star's Instagram post, she protested against the brutality of the police that was clearly visible in the video that witnessed George Floyd's tragic death.

“Wherever you live, whatever your circumstances, NO ONE deserves to die, especially at the hands of another because of their skin color,” the 37-year-old actress wrote on social media. She further mentioned the entire incident that took place on 25th May and also wrote about his struggle to breathe while other police officers did nothing but watch.

While the message Chopra posted was nothing different compared to other celebs but as she worked in Bollywood for over a decade before finding her feet in Hollywood, the Netizens backlashed the actress for maintaining silence when anti-Muslim and anti-Dalit cruelty happened in India.

She did speak against racism being in America, but disregarding her own country's issues got the Baywatch actress in trouble. While one user on Twitter-based her for not even considering KPS Gill incident in Punjab, another user replied how the actress wants the racism to end in the USA but she is fine with Islamophobic attacks in her own country.

She has been called out for her hypocrisy to do "selective activism" while ignoring Rohit Vemula murder, Akhlaq lynching, Delhi pogrom, Najeeb Ahmed, and more tragic incidents. Apart from these issues, many people bring to the notice again how the Isn't It Romantic actress wants to remove racism from the United States but endorse various fairness creams in India.

Along with Chopra, even other Indian actresses such as Disha Patani and Sonam Kapoor were called out for taking a little break from endorsing the products that encouraged dark skin tone people to apply creams to get whiter skin, so that they can help the movement of "Black Lives Matter."

After popular faces like Kareena Kapoor and Tiger Shroff raised their voice against Gloyd's murder, users across social media bashed them as well for having no moral grounds to speak on issues such as racial injustice because they keep mum on atrocities in their own country.
