While the people use the streets to show their protest against George Floyd's wrongful killing, the celebrities are helping the Minnesota protesters to get bailed out with the help of their resources and the platform across America.

Chrissy Teigen tweeted on Saturday about her commitment towards donating $100,000 that will help protesters to get the bailout. Soon after she increased the donation amount to $200,000. The remark this American model made was in response to President Donald Trump who tweeted about protesting going on right outside the White House.

President Trump referred to the protesters in his tweet as "professionally managed" protesters, accusing them of not having anything to do with George Floyd's death. He further adds that these people protesting outside the White House are trying to cause him trouble.

He also mentioned how easily @SecretService handled those protesters. "Tonight, I understand, is MAGA NIGHT AT THE WHITE HOUSE???" he added. The protest continued throughout the cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Minneapolis, and many more.

Many other celebs have chosen social media as a platform to show their support to the protest and against Derek Chauvin who murdered Floyd. Stars are also displaying their emotions on Social media regarding the oppression of black people from the system that happens daily.

Several stars on social media have been constantly encouraging their followers and fans to donate to the non-profit Minnesota Freedom Fund that will help to pay for individuals bailout who lack financial backup.

Ben Schwartz got retweeted by Steve Carell who matched the same amount of donation while both tweets and donations by them were a part of a chain created by celebs including Seth Rogen and many more. 

Initially, the donation looks like to be as little as $50, though This Is the End star mentioned under his tweet that he further increased the amount donated.

Another chain of tweets, rapper Noname donated to Minnesota Freedom Fund $1,000 on Thursday and later Janelle Monáe and singer-songwriter Kehlani matched the rapper by adding $1,000 to the protesters’ bailout fund.

Apart from the Minnesota Freedom Fund, there are other non-profits that people can contribute their bit to help the bailout such as Brooklyn Community Bail Fund, Columbus Freedom Fund, The Bail Project, and Philadelphia Bail Fund to name a few of them.

Floyd's sister Philonise has set up an official memorial on GoFundMe is also being circulated on social media. Till now, they have raised $4,252,820 and looking forward to meeting the goal of $1,500,000.
