Paris Jackson and Janet Jackson surprised their supporters when they shared a photo from their recent hangout.

Prior to their outing, previous reports revealed that Paris has been estranged from her aunt Janet for years. Luckily, it seems that the two have already buried the hatchet.

In its Oct. 31 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Janet couldn’t be more proud of everything that Paris accomplished even though she practically grew up without her father, Michael Jackson.

“It took a long time but Paris and Janet have made their peace,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Janet decided to distance herself from Paris years ago because she admittedly didn’t know how to handle a teenager’s behavior.

“Paris had some growing up to do and Janet admits she didn’t handle the feelings of a young teen that had lost her dad as well as she should have. But they love each other once again,” the source said.

According to the source, Paris’ grandmother, Katherine has also been encouraging her to make peace with her other relatives. After all, the 92-year-old doesn’t have long to live and she just wants to make sure that Paris and her siblings will be loved by their family.

Meanwhile, Paris made headlines in July amid reports that she had a hard time connecting with her audiences at her concert.

According to National Enquirer, Paris was very different compared to her dad because she didn’t know how to work the stage. In fact, she did not even make eye contact with her audience or exchanged a single word with them.

“Paris barely spoke to the crowd during breaks and had her eyes glued to her lyrics, which she clearly couldn’t remember. Who flies across the country to put on a show and doesn’t even know their own songs?” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no indication that Paris struggled to interact with her audience because that wasn’t her first time performing live for them.

It’s not also true that Janet had a hard time dealing with Paris while she was growing up. She and her niece have never revealed the real reason for their falling out, but all that matters now is that they are doing fine.
