Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney recently had a “date night” at the Toronto International Film Festival. The actress talked about her and her husband’s latest outing and motherhood during the event.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the mother of one described her motherhood journey as “wonderful.” She also thanked the interviewer for asking about the matter before discussing her night out with Maroney.

Whether their joint attendance was counted as a “date night,” Lawrence quipped, “In the sense that we’ll both be in bed by nine.”

The outlet said the “Hunger Games” actress walked the red carpet without her husband of nearly three years. But, he was present at the event to support his wife for the premiere of her new film, “Causeway.”

Meanwhile, co-stars Justine Ciarrocchi, Linda Emond, Brian Tyree Henry, and Lila Neugebauer joined the 32-year-old celebrity on the red carpet.

The recent exchange at the Toronto International Film Festival came days after Jennifer Lawrence opened up about her new life as a mother. She disclosed intimate details to Vogue for a cover feature, published Tuesday.

The “Don’t Look Up” star admitted that “it is so scary to talk about motherhood.” She explained that it is “only because it is so different for everybody.”

Lawrence, who welcomed her first child earlier this year, also recalled how she “felt so prepared to be forgiving” about motherhood as she might not connect or not fall in love right away with it. But, as the magazine put it, “she did fall in love right away” after giving birth.

The “American Hustle” actress shared, “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, ‘Now is day one of my life.’ I just stared. I was just so in love.”

Jennifer Lawrence continued that she “also fell in love with babies everywhere,” adding, “newborns are just so amazing.” She later pointed out that she now loves all babies, and whenever she hears a baby crying in a restaurant, she said she would go, “Awww, precious.”

Elsewhere in the interview with Vogue, the “Red Sparrow” star revealed the sex and name of her and Cooke Maroney’s first child. They had kept the details of their pregnancy and childbirth for months, as has been the case with their relationship.

The actress stated that they welcomed a son and named him “Cy.” As noted, the moniker was after one of Maroney’s favorite artists: postwar American painter Cy Twombly.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney tied the knot in October 2019. Reports of their pregnancy made headlines more than two years after their wedding and months before she gave birth.
