Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz have been making headlines in recent weeks but for all the wrong reasons. Some tabloids have been insisting that the in-laws are not on good terms and Brooklyn Beckham is caught between the two women in his life.

In Touch Weekly, in its Aug. 29 issue, dubbed Posh Spice as a monster-in-law because of her alleged feud with Peltz. A source claimed that their misunderstanding started before Brooklyn’s wedding because Victoria forced Peltz to wear one of her fashion label’s creations instead of her dream Valentino dress.

The source also claimed that Victoria cannot stand Peltz because she has always wanted her eldest son to marry a British woman and not an American citizen.

And when rumors swirled that Peltz is being dubbed as the new Mrs. Beckham, Victoria became even more upset because the moniker used to belong to her.

Of course, Brooklyn is struggling to deal with his mom and wife’s issues because he just wants everyone to get along well with each other.

“He’s torn between the two most important women in his life. He’s pleaded with his mother to play nice, but she’s good at holding grudges,” the source said.

Last week, Heat UK also claimed that Victoria and Peltz are not OK. The magazine’s source claimed that Victoria and her husband, David, were shocked when they heard Peltz’s recent interview. And the former was convinced that it was all just a publicity stunt.

“They’re seeing it as an attention-seeking stunt, and they now need to figure out where to go from here. In brand Beckham, the philosophy is that if you stay silent rather than acknowledge then the story disappears. That’s how Brooklyn was raised, so they imagine Nicola quashed any attempt for him to play it down and that it was her publicist who was sitting in on the interview,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Victoria and Peltz are feuding with each other. And there’s also no indication that the model’s recent interview upset her mother-in-law.

By the looks of it, the tabloid just took Peltz’s words out of context and made it seem as though she was throwing shade at Victoria even when she wasn’t.
