Demi Lovato’s jampacked schedule will push through despite the minor accident that she got herself into.

On her TikTok account, the singer shared a video of herself featuring a huge scar on her forehead. She revealed that she hit her head on a crystal and had to get stitches ahead of her Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance.

Other than her upcoming appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Lovato is also busy preparing for the forthcoming release of her eighth studio album, Holy Fvck. She is also scheduled to tour different parts of the world starting on Aug. 30.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Lovato’s upcoming album marks her first full-length project ever since she came out as non-binary. The upcoming tour will also be her first since she relapsed in 2018 and was hospitalized due to an apparent overdose.

“We're working so hard to deliver an incredible show for all my fans and I can't wait to see them in person to celebrate this new music. I'm so excited to get back on the road after four years without touring, and even longer since I've toured in South America,” Lovato said about her album.

On July 15, Lovato will also release one of the songs from Holy Fvck called “Substance.” Ahead of the release, she shared photos sporting her new hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Lovato opened up about her 2018 overdose and said that she almost lost her life because of it.

“I had three strokes. I had a heart attack. My doctors said that I had five to 10 more minutes. I’ve had a lot of lives, like my cat. You know, I’m in my ninth life. I’m ready to get back to doing what I love, which is making music,” she said (via Us Weekly).

Years ago, the “Sober” singer also revealed that she self-medicated.

“I'm not gonna lie. I was self-medicating. I was doing things like drinking and using [drugs], like a lot of teens do to numb their pain,” she said.

A year later, Lovato revealed that her addiction became so bad that she couldn’t go 30 minutes to an hour without cocaine. Oftentimes, she would also bring the deadly drug on airplanes and smuggle it in the hopes that no one would catch her.

Today, Lovato seems to be doing much better.
