Demi Lovato’s friends are allegedly worried about her because she’s still drinking alcohol and consuming weed.

In its May 17 issue, OK! magazine said that Lovato’s friends were utterly shocked when she posted a photo of herself smoking a bong.

The “Dancing With the Devil” songstress has been very open about her struggles with drugs and alcohol. And she’s been open to saying that she still drinks and consumes weed but in moderation.

However, the singer’s friends want her to be able to stay sober for the rest of her life especially since she almost died years ago after suffering a drug overdose.

“It’s scary to think of her drinking and smoking pot, even if it’s in tiny amounts, after everything she’s been through. She’s playing with fire,” the source said.

The tabloid also used Lovato’s recent online spat with a frozen yogurt shop in Los Angeles as proof that the singer isn’t stable right now.

“The whole incident was a real mess and didn’t reflect well on Demi. Nobody doubts how strong and brave she’s been, but it looks like she’s back in a vulnerable place. People are worried she could be heading toward another downward spiral,” the source said.

Weeks ago, Lovato threw shade at the yogurt shop The Bigg Chill for putting their sugar-free cookies and other diet foods at the store before customers can reach the counter to place their order.

The singer also accused the brand of harmful messaging from brands and companies that perpetuate a society that enables and praises disordered eating.

In a private message, the company responded to Lovato by saying that they are not diet vultures. They also apologized to Lovato if she found the placement of their products offensive.

The singer responded by saying that she also has a problem with the service that she received at the store.

At one point, Lovato became upset and TMZ revealed that she threatened to sue the company if they will continue arguing with her.

However, this was very far from what Lovato posted when she uploaded a lengthy apology for seemingly attacking The Bigg Chill.

The singer’s sentiments come from the fact that she has been struggling with an eating disorder for the most part of her life.

In fact, she recently posted a photo of her pink mug with the words “I’m worth it” on it and said that she’s trying to remind herself that she’s not defined by her eating disorder.
