Cardi B recently opened up about having her two children, Kulture and Wave Set.

When the “Bodak Yellow” singer found out that she was pregnant with her daughter, she still didn’t have an album out. So, a lot of friends and even some family members were worried that having a baby could jeopardize her career.

But while speaking with Vogue Singapore, Cardi B said that she was confident enough to tell everyone that she could handle having a baby with the help of a nanny.

However, when Kulture was born, Cardi B decided not to hire a nanny for her because she didn’t want anyone to go near her daughter. The singer’s decision meant that she needed all the help that she could get from her close relatives. However, she didn’t also want to take advantage of their time and goodness.

“Your parents have already lived their life and raised their kids. They are older and don’t have the same energy as someone in their 20s. I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother,” she said.

Cardi B also admitted that she has compassion for mothers who work hard and juggle motherhood with their jobs because hustling isn’t easy.

The Hustler star also revealed that she’s been feeling exhausted because her two children got sick recently.

“I’m exhausted. I’ve been overwhelmed and scared. I started to think about how my mum had to go through this a lot because my sister and I used to always fall sick at the same time. I’ve never appreciated my mom more – having kids help you see things a little bit different,” she said.

As of late, it’s unclear if Cardi B wants to have more children. But the singer previously said that she wanted to have more kids before getting pregnant with Wave Set.

In 2019, she told Entertainment Tonight that she wants to have kids for as long as her body could take it.

“Whatever my body can take, and I feel like I can take it. It's so easy for people to be like, 'Oh, I want four or five kids.' But it's like, 'Can you really take that?’”

For now, Cardi B is busy taking care of her kids and making sure that they’re fine and spoiled. For her fourth birthday, she gave Kulture $50,000 in cash.
