Elon Musk now has nine children, and he wants to have more.

Speaking exclusively to Page Six, the Tesla CEO confirmed the recent reports about him having twins with the Neuralink executive, Shivon Zilis.

The reputed outlet shared that when it congratulated Musk on the newest additions to the family, he said “thanks” and “bravo to big families.”

It also quoted the billionaire business magnate, saying, “As many as I am able to spend time with and be a good father,” after he was asked how many kids he would like to have.

The SpaceX co-founder also shared some insight into his children’s lives during the engagement. He stated that his eldest “are off to college,” while his “teenagers do not want to spend much time with their parents,” although he wishes they would.

It all comes after news broke Wednesday that Elon Musk welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis in November 2021. Business Insider was the first to report the matter after obtaining a court filing pertaining to the children’s name change.

As explained, the request was for the incorporation of the world’s wealthiest person’s last name into the twins’ names and the mother’s surname as part of their middle names.

Zilis and Musk, alongside reps, maintained their silence regarding the matter. Although, the latter seemingly made an initial confirmation after posting on social media, saying, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far. Mark my words, they are sadly true.”

Elon Musk had his second twins a month before his ex-partner, Grimes, welcomed their second child via surrogate. Hollywood Life reiterated that the on-again, off-again former couple first had a son, who was born amid the COVID-19 pandemic in May 2020.

The tech mogul had his first twins with his former wife, Justine Musk, in the early 2000s. They then welcomed their triplets two years later, and two years before officially parting ways.

Musk and his first wife also had a son in 2002, but reports noted that he passed away after ten weeks due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Meanwhile, CNN Business reported that Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis first met likely earlier in 2016. It was when she reportedly became an advisor to OpenAI, a nonprofit he co-founded a year prior.

Zilis later moved on to working for Tesla before becoming an executive at Neuralink. She is said to be currently holding the position of Director of Operations and Special Projects at the company.
