Wendy Williams shared good news despite her long battle with another health issue.

For years, Williams has been battling several health issues that led to the end of her long-running show, "The Wendy Williams Show." She particularly struggles because of Graves' disease.

But aside from the thyroid condition, she updated her fans about her lymphedema, which has been affecting her life since 2019. She first revealed it during a 2019 episode of her show.

Now, the talk show host told a news outlet that she is doing better than anyone else despite the condition.

"You know I have lymphedema, you know what that is, correct?" she told the news outlet's Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere.

But since the duo was clueless about it, she reached down and lifted her foot, which appeared to be very swollen. Because of the condition, Williams purportedly could only feel five percent of her feet.

The condition was worrying enough it could make her stay in a wheelchair. But since she could still stand up on her own, she assured everyone that she was feeling physically better.

According to the National Cancer Institute, the condition refers to the build-up of fluid in a patient's soft body tissues. It occurs when the lymph system is blocked or damaged, thus, it causes swelling.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention adds that the swelling may develop quickly or slowly for months.

Wendy Williams' Openness About Lymphedema Through The Years

It was not the first time she bravely talked about it, though.

In 2019, she told her viewers that she was dealing with another health condition while battling Graves disease.

"It's not going to kill me, but I do have a machine - and how dare you talk about the swelling of it all. It's lymphedema. I've got it under control," she said.

Last year, she also posted photos of her feet she took when she visited a health clinic. She explained that Dr. Laure helped her understand that lymphedema is not curable but can be managed.

Despite these issues, Williams is now planning to launch her own podcast (in the planning stages) as it will make more money for her compared to "The Wendy Williams Show." “When you’re famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing the Wendy Williams Show,” she told TMZ.

Williams, as quoted by ET Online, remains unsure if she would start in Europe and welcome interesting guests. She did not disclose more details about it, but she made it clear that she is 100 percent retired in her recently-ended show.
