Prince Harry had a facial expression at the Invictus Games that “says it all.”

Judi James recently shared her analyses of the royal-born Prince’s actions, gestures, and movements, as well as his wife, Meghan Markle’s, at the event. Express UK reported that she made the assertions to MailOnline following the opening ceremony in The Hague on Saturday.

The body language expert noted that the Duke of Sussex had an “emphatic eye-crinkling” while tilting his head as he smiled. This reportedly suggested “a return to the cause and the people that he loves.”

The youngest Wales prince was, also, said to have shown “a small amount of trepidation and humility” during the appearance. As for his fiddling with his wedding ring, it was noted to have signaled “how important the support of his wife and family still are to him.”

Judi James continued that the gesture showed the “ongoing bonds” between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She added that the former’s hand on top of the latter’s in the clasp hinted at a “similar desire to lead and protect” as what the public saw during their very first public appearance many years ago.

Moreover, one of his hands is “stuffed into his trouser pocket” and this suggested a “desire to look casual and confident.”

The expert, then, went on to reveal her analyses of the Duchess of Sussex’s body language. She asserted that the former actress displayed a “gesture of submission” when her hand was cupped upward to her husband’s.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games over the weekend. This year’s event marks the first since 2019 as they underwent a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The former working royals’ trip, also, served as their first joint appearance in Europe since 2020. It was only the royal-born Prince who flew back to the United Kingdom a few times after their exit earlier that year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are joined by a Netflix film crew for this year’s Invictus Games. MailOnline said that the team “frantically scampered” after the couple while they met veterans on the first day of the international sporting event.

The film crew is for the production of “Heart of Invictus,” which will reportedly be the first output of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s deal with the streaming giant. It will follow the journeys of the participants of the event, which the royal-born Prince founded many years ago.
