Prince William and Prince Harry are allegedly at risk of suffering from mental health problems amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to New Idea, the royal siblings are not immune to the mental health issues that everyone in isolation could be facing right now.

Just recently, Prince William and Kate Middleton released a statement expressing their concerns amid the lockdown. They said that the last few weeks have been unsettling for everyone.

After all, self-isolation and social distancing can pose threats to everyone’s mental health. It is therefore important to support each other and find ways to look after everyone’s mental health.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also released a similar statement even though they not considered as working royals. The royal couple also said that these are uncertain times that’s why people need each other now more than ever.

Princess Mary of Denmark is also encouraging everyone to play their part in helping to overcome social isolation. She also said that people who live alone may be experiencing extreme loneliness. And those who are already feeling alone may only feel much worse.

Queen Elizabeth is confident that the coronavirus pandemic won’t last forever. She said that the day will come when families and loved ones would get to reunite with each other again.

However, it is still unclear when the lockdown in the United Kingdom will be lifted.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has always been vocal about his mental health struggles. During his interview with The Telegraph in 2017, the Duke of Sussex said that he has been battling with his mental health problems for 20 years.

Markle’s husband also said that his issues started shortly after Princess Diana passed away. And for two years of his life, Prince Harry felt that his life was in total chaos.

At one point, Prince Harry found himself very close to a mental breakdown but he couldn’t put a finger on what was wrong with him. It was also during this time that Prince Harry earned the nickname “Crazy Harry” because he was smoking pot, getting drunk all the time, and more.

After having conversations about his mental health problems, Prince Harry felt that all his grief came to the forefront and he needed to deal with them.

With Prince William’s encouragement, Prince Harry sought professional help and he has been doing better ever since. The Duke of Sussex also expressed how grateful he is to Prince William because he was there for him during the most difficult time of his life.
