Prince Charles won’t likely reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they return to the United Kingdom next month.

In its September 18 issue, Closer UK claimed that Queen Elizabeth would be more than happy to reunite with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

And even after everything that the couple has said about the royal family and The Firm, the queen would still want them to be at her Jubilee celebration.

However, the same cannot be said about Prince Charles. In fact, there are speculations that not only is he not thrilled to learn about Prince Harry and Markle’s possible return; he’s also planning to avoid the Sussexes at all costs.

While speaking with the publication, a former royal staff said that the day Prince Harry and Markle return to the UK will be extremely intense.

“There’ll be an icy reception from palace aides, staff, and certain members of the family. I don’t think Harry and Meghan are aware of just how much hurt they’ve caused,” the source said.

The insider added that the queen would also feel torn between her role as the monarch and her role as a grandmother. After all, she has always been close to Prince Harry, but there’s no denying the fact that she was offended by his recent statements.

“She’ll want to talk to Harry and she’d forgive him, should he ask for her forgiveness. They’ll probably bring Archie and Lilibet and I know she’ll be desperate to see Archie again and to meet Lilibet,” the source said.

However, Prince Charles has no plans to see his youngest son and daughter-in-law anytime soon. After all, he was at the center of the couple’s recent attacks.

During an interview, Prince Harry even went as far as saying that Prince Charles stopped supporting him and his wife financially after they quit The Firm.

But a source for Prince Charles said that he gave the couple financial support up until the time that they were able to stand on their own in the United States.

The contradicting statements has left royal fans confused. Some of them are on Prince Charles’ side, while others are convinced that Prince Harry is the one telling the truth.

But regardless of who’s at fault, it is important to note that there is still no confirmation that Prince Harry and Markle will head to the UK next month.
