Macaulay Culkin, Lindsay Lohan, and Mary-Kate, and Ashley Olsen are just some of the most famous child stars of their time.

Now that they are all grown up, their alleged child star secrets are finally being revealed.

In its August 30 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Culkin had a very troubled childhood because his dad was mentally and physically abusive.

So, even though the former child star was making millions from starring in The Richie Rich, as well as the Home Alone franchise, he was living in poverty in real life.

A source said that Culkin was also forced to forge a weird friendship with the late Michael Jackson because he was so lonely at home.

And despite claims that Culkin was sexually abused by the late singer, the actor still insists to this day that no such thing happened between them.

Lohan, on the other hand, starred in The Parent Trap and several other movies in the 90s.

A friend of the actress said that Lohan was having problems at home while dealing with her DUI arrests and rehab stints.

At a young age, Lohan allegedly felt as though she had to take care of everyone in her family because they didn’t have money.

“The more she made, the more they needed her. It was relentless,” the unnamed friend said.

And by the time she moved to Los Angeles, Lohan didn’t have anyone to look after her.

“She was surrounded by adults all looking to take advantage of her. She was exposed to way too much, way too young,” the source said.

A similar thing happened to the Olsen twins. A source said that the siblings grew up extremely isolated even though they were so famous.

And they didn’t also have that much fun on the set of Full House.

The insider claimed that everyone thought the cast members were bonded, but there was actually a lot of tension on set.

And since the twins don’t have good memories from the show, they refused to reprise their roles in the spinoff.

However, it was the pressures that they received post-acting that took a toll on Mary-Kate and Ashley.

“They struggled with the attention and judgment. Luckily, they turned things around but it was touch and go for years,” the source said.
