Prince Harry allegedly treated Meghan Markle liked a princess on her 40th birthday.

In its August 24 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Markle woke up on the day of her birthday with breakfast on bed.

“Then Harry led her to the family room, where he’d put lots of lovely little gifts in fancy bags,” the source said.

Some of the presents that Markle received include books, personalized stationery, and plants for her garden.

“Harry doted on her. She got to relax without any pressure or outside interference. Meghan had insisted on keeping things low-key, so this was perfect,” the source said.

Markle also spent part of her birthday launching her 40x40 initiative with the help of Melissa McCarthy. According to the source, the Duchess of Sussex had a blast working with the funny woman.

Prince Harry also helped Markle with the initiative by giving her cool ideas.

The source also claimed that Markle received sweet birthday greetings from her royal in-laws. And she couldn’t be happier.

After all, the Suits alum is at peace right now. And she’s no longer melancholy about turning 40 because she’s more excited to know what lies ahead.

However, other tabloids claimed that Markle celebrated her birthday in a different way.

Earlier this week, New Idea claimed that Markle organized a massive birthday party for her friends and neighbors in Montecito. However, she was forced to cancel her party after learning that Barack Obama also had a party on the exact same day.

What made things worse was that Obama didn’t invite Markle and Prince Harry to his birthday celebration. So, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ended up celebrating Markle’s birthday at home with their two dogs and two kids.

Heat UK also claimed that Markle canceled her birthday because of the royal family. 

However, this isn’t true. There is no proof that Markle organized a huge party for her birthday because she just gave birth and it might not be safe for her to have huge crowds at home.

She and Prince Harry weren’t also offended with Obama’s decision not to invite them to his birthday. After all, the ex-POTUS must have his own reason for not doing so.

As for the presents that Markle received, no one also knows what Prince Harry and her royal in-laws got her.

Throughout the years, Markle and Prince Harry do not usually reveal the gifts that they get during special occasions.
