Barbra Streisand has allegedly turn reclusive since the initial coronavirus lockdown in the United States. And it’s affecting her relationship with James Brolin.

In its July 12 issue, Globe claimed that Brolin has not been spending much time at home since establishments reopened in Los Angeles. Streisand, on the other hand, continues to stay at home.

“He’s going out and enjoying the fresh air with friends and doing fun stuff. Yet Barbra rarely, if ever, joins him and it’s frustrating the poor guy. She used to be famous for her dinner parties and matchmaking, but in the last few months her agoraphobic nature has taken hold and the most she does is venture out of a doctor’s appointment,” the source said.

Streisand thinks that she and Brolin have everything that they need at home. So, there’s really no need for them to keep going out. Her family and friends also visit her regularly and she’s not the one that goes to them.

Brolin, on the other hand, has a very active lifestyle. And he’s also busy living his own life that which’s causing a strain on the couple’s marriage.

“But he’s become a master of the social scene in Malibu and beyond. He’s just an incredibly likable guy and has created these great relationships with stars like Robert Downey Jr. that have almost nothing to do with Barbra,” the source said.

The insider added that for the past couple of months, Brolin has been trying to stay as active as possible. He’s also tired of being cooped up in their house in Malibu even though it’s luxurious and has everything that he needs.

With this, the unnamed source claimed that it’s only a matter of time before the couple’s differences affect their relationship. And when it does, Streisand and Brolin will allegedly head for a divorce.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Streisand and Brolin have been married since 1998. So, it’s unlikely that they don’t know each other’s personalities.

And since they do know each other well enough, it’s unlikely for them to have these issues much later in their marriage.

Last month, People also revealed that the couple’s marriage has been better than ever since the pandemic.

According to Brolin, he and his wife fell in love again amid COVID-19.

This is in stark contrast to what the tabloid is trying to say about the couple.
