Sharon Osbourne couldn’t allegedly be happier now that she’s no longer part of The Talk.

After defending her friend Piers Morgan after the latter criticized Meghan Markle, Osbourne received flak from her fellow The Talk hosts, as well as her critics.

The backlash that she faced urged Osbourne to quit the morning talk show altogether.

In its June 28 issue, Globe claimed that Osbourne is thrilled to know that The Talk isn’t doing so well without her.

After her exit, the ratings for the talk show dropped considerably.

“She’s feeling vindicated in the eyes of her fans and viewers and has been biding her time, waiting for a chance to tell it like it is. In spite of people still giving her a hard time, she has a lot of allies and is slowly but surely pulling things together,” the source said.

The insider added that Osbourne is already planning her big television comeback. However, she’s not rushing into anything after her family’s reality TV show failed to impress in the past.

“There are some people who feel Sharon didn’t deserve what she got, and she’s depending on them to make her return to TV a triumph,” the source said.

While Osbourne is still waiting for her next big break, she’s allegedly focusing her energy on her family and friends. She’s spending a lot of time with her husband and children during her lengthy career break.

As of late, it is not confirmed whether the viewer of The Talk stopped watching the program because Osbourne is no longer there. And there’s also no proof that the former host is celebrating the show’s dip in ratings.

But the tabloid’s claims that the rating for the show decreased are correct.

According to Express, the ratings for The Talk didn’t just drop. It was also evident that more female viewers stopped watching the program after its four-week hiatus.

According to the ratings collated by Neilsen data, The Talk ranked 13th among women aged between 18 and 49 or approximately 200,000 viewers.

But despite the recent dip in the show’s ratings, it has allegedly been confirmed that The Talk will return next season.

Marie Osmond also took Osbourne’s spot after she quit the show. The former joined the panel in 2019 when she replaced Sara Gilbert, but Osmond left after just one season.

As of late, it is still unclear how long she will be part of the program.
