Prince Charles is choosing to ignore questions about his son, Prince Harry, who claimed in a new podcast interview that he experienced "genetic pain and suffering" because of his father's parenting.

The Duke of Sussex alluded in his podcast conversation with actor Dax Shepard that the parenting skills of his father was influenced by the parenting of his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

He said he moved to California to be away from the royal family and break this bad cycle of parenting. Harry also said that his royal life could be comparable to The Truman Show and the zoo. During a royal engagement in Cardiff, Charles ignored a reporter's question about Harry and appeared to be in a jovial mood even as his son blasted him, yet again, in a public platform.

In March, Harry also expressed his disappointment for his father when he told Oprah Winfrey that the Prince of Wales cut him off and chose not to support Harry, who decided to uproot his life in London to live in California with Meghan Markle and their son, Archie.

Brushing off Harry's comments, Prince Charles instead chose to joke and and smile as he opened a family business. Charles was also in good spirits when he visited and talked to the people manning a local food bank and a youth charity center.

But royal commentator Roya Nikkhah said that Prince Charles is likely "bewildered" by Harry's latest tirades against the royal institution and his father.

Nikkhah said that the Prince of Wales has "done his best" to be a father to Harry and Prince William, especially after the death of their mother, Princess Diana.

Nikkhah also pointed out that Charles stepped up and offered to walk Meghan Markle down the aisle for her wedding to Harry. Before her arrival in the royal family, Harry's relationship with his father was full of warmth despite their problematic issues, such as Harry's wild bachelor years and troubled teenage years.

Royal biographer Robert Jobson also said that Harry's latest statements appear ungracious, especially when his father just lost his own father. Jobson said that, more than anything, Charles needs the support of his children as he's still grieving the death of Prince Philip.

Charles also didn't have a perfect relationship with his father but he was still devastated about losing Philip. Jobson called Harry a self-indulged person who has needs to make these statements and thrash the royal family because he is selling his upcoming mental health series with Winfrey.

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard also called out Harry for his remarks against Prince Charles. Though Harry said he wasn't pointing fingers, the host said that his next statements were about putting the blame on his father for his struggles in life.
