Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's life has completely changed after their decision to step down from their royal life gave them more reach to a wider audience.

In the months following news of their exit earlier last year, reports of Prince Harry’s apparent demise from leaving his royal life came out. Still, apparently, these reports are no longer true as an insider close to the couple reveals Harry’s shocking opinion of the Royal Firm to US Weekly.

According to the source, the Duke of Sussex is ‘thriving’ in California and has no regrets about leaving his old life.

“Harry doesn’t have any regrets about leaving the royal family whatsoever and is really happy in Montecito. They are enjoying their new life in California — being a normal family and having the freedom to make their own decisions without anyone watching over them,” the insider shares with US Weekly.

Furthermore, the source also explained that Prince Harry has only grown more confident now that he is living as a private citizen and has control over his going abouts.

The 37-year-old did express to the source that he misses his home and his friends but believes that there is still more to do in California.

The couple has reached major milestones in the past year, and their successes have far outshone the ones made by members of the royal family. Although last year brought the Duke and Duchess much to celebrate, it was also revealed that the couple suffered a miscarriage.

This revelation was a defining moment for the pair as it showed the vulnerability of the Sussex family. This was also a step taken in the right direction of the couple as a sign that they really are an independent branch of the Royal Firm.

Rumors of the two’s relationship going downhill after their royal exit were also apparent last year, but this has been proven to be false. US Weekly reported that the two’s relationship has gotten stronger over the past year as they faced both good and bad events together.

2021 will be another year Harry and Meghan will face. New challenges will arise for the couple, especially that of their future as royals.

Legal battles with the Associated Press are also a big hump the pair will traverse together, as well as traveling to the UK for many momentous events.

Currently, the two live a blissful life in California, joined by their 19-month-old son Archie Harrison.
