Towa seems to be not doing well, and she might become a liability for Setsuna and Moroha in an upcoming mission in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Episode 12. The next episode is called Night of the New Moon and The Black-Haired Towa.

The official Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Episode 12 preview trailer has been released for fans indicating Towa’s current condition.

In the promo trailer, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha are ready for their next mission. But something happens to Towa and Setsuna, and Moroha cannot sense her demonic energy. Can she continue the mission with them?

“Some mere half-demons have the Rainbow Pearl? I see, so you think that I, Nikosen, being both demon and human, am best suited to take care of them. See to it that you defeat them. In a battle against a demon that withered a mountain, I end up holding us all back. What is wrong with you today, Towa? I don’t sense any demon energy from you. It is like you are a human or something! Next time on Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: Night of the New Moon and The Black-Haired Towa,” the preview for the new episode read.

In the last Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon episode, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha arrive at the pond that has been eating up any living being that is near it.

Later, they meet Hisui also tells Towa and Setsuna about the pond. He explains that villagers believe that the pond was once beautiful, and it sparkled and shone like a mirror.

However, things changed when something started living in it, and it started getting dirtier. Kohaku tells them that there are no living witnesses who have seen the pond demon. The demon is known to eat anything that comes near the pond.

Towa and Setsuna head back to the pond, and they see two kids dangerously close to the pond. A girl named Chiyo is trying to stop her sibling named Hikomaru from going into the pond.

Hikomaru announces that she is seeking revenge for her ma and pa. Setsuna stops them, and the kids reveal their story.

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Episode 12 is slated to hit the airwaves on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 3:30 a.m. ET and 12:30 a.m. PT. In Japan, the episode will be available for viewing on Saturday, 5:30 p.m. ET.
