The Office had changed the life of many upcoming talents when it first aired on television in 2005. In fact, the beloved sitcom is still benefiting the actors who appeared in the supporting cast. Brian Baumgartner, who portrayed Kevin Malone's character, has ranked top earner on Cameo for 2020.

The 48-year-old actor played one of the accountants of Dunder Mifflin on the comedy series. Reportedly, the actor earned more than $1 million by making cameo videos as per Steven Galanis, CEO and co-founder of the app.

In an interview with Kara Swisher that appeared on New York Times Sway podcast, Galanis revealed that the actor topped the platform by generating the most revenue in one year. However, Baumgartner's representative has not responded regarding the same.

"The person that did the most in revenue this year is Brian Baumgartner, who is Kevin from The Office. He’ll do over $1 million this year in bookings," Galanis said. He explained that it is the actor's comedic personality that makes him approachable, and his name is highly requested on the platform.

The tech entrepreneur further explained that the actor invests a lot of time in crafting his videos, and people using the platform appreciate quality videos than anything else. Galanis appreciated the actor for making time and taking the platform seriously to create quality videos to entertain people.

Galanis also praised Baumgartner for being a reliable celebrity. He acknowledged that the content created by him is absolutely funny, and he gets back to them really quickly. So far, the actor is delivering his best on the Cameo platform.

Besides this platform, Baumgartner also hosts a podcast, An Oral History of The Office, on Spotify. In an episode with Ellie Kemper held in August, the actor advocated for his character to have a romance with Erin Hannon.

He revealed during the podcast that he had pitched The Office creators the romantic angle between Erin and Kevin's characters. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star agreed with the actor and said that it sounds like a "reasonable relationship."

The actor recalled visiting the writers' room and suggesting that if Kevin's character is turned a little more mature, then there was an energy between the characters that matched in a different way. The 40-year-old actress responded that she loves that idea.

Although Baumgartner said that it is sad that this great love story was never witnessed, the actor’s podcast is extremely popular on the streaming platform as many sitcom stars appeared on his show, such as Steve Carell, Angela Kinsey, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, and John Krasinski.
