The Crown star Emma Corrin recently reacted to rumors that Queen Elizabeth could tune in to Season 4.

While speaking with Vogue, the actress said that the thought is nerve-wracking, but she knows she cannot control how the queen will react if she watches the hit series.

But Corrin said that she hopes the queen will really watch The Crown. But even more so, she hopes that Her Majesty would like it.

The actress also stressed that the series isn’t a documentary but fiction, so it’s not supposed to be the same as what happened to the royals in real life.

Corrin also revealed how she felt a little daunted at first after getting cast as Princess Diana. After all, there was just so much noise and opinions about the character and the series.

The actress admitted that there were times wherein she felt a little scared because there was just so much pressure. But she decided to put her blinkers on and had a blast.

Corrin also said that knowing that she will no longer be playing Princess Diana next season is kind of tragic. More specifically, it feels like hearing that her ex has moved on.

But at the end of the day, the Australian actress knows that she has to let go of her character.

Corrin is also supportive of creator Peter Morgan’s decision to cast a different actor for each character as the series progresses.

In related news, the actress revealed that she stole one thing from the set of The Crown. After seeing a gold chain lying around in Princess Diana’s bedroom, Corrin decided to bring it home.

The actress, who was cast as Princess Diana ahead of Season 3’s premiere, revealed that she’s also become so close to her co-stars.

In fact, she first met them at a screening for Season 3. She is also part of the cast’s WhatsApp group.

Corrin revealed that among her cast members, Gillian Anderson and Helena Bonham Carter are two of the most active members of their chat group.

The Crown will reportedly return for Season 5 and Season 6.

Morgan initially said that he feels Season 5 is the perfect time to stop. But he had a change of heart months later.

The final season of The Crown will focus more on the present day. But details are still being kept under wraps.
