Sources told E! Online that Cavallari wasn't expecting Jay Cutler to file for divorce last week. A source suggests she was hoping to work things out more graciously and that was off to a good start before Jay dropped the hammer.  After announcing a divorce from Cutler, the reality star posted a positive and appealing photo to the Jewelry by Uncommon James Instagram page on Apr. 27.

Flashing her bare legs, Kristin donned a pair of short shorts. The blonde beauty wrote in her caption that she is missing patio brunches with bottomless mimosas while practicing self-isolation. On the same day, the Very Cavallari TV star took to her Instagram page to announce that she was divorcing her husband Jay Cutler.

Kristin was together with the former football star for ten years and they have three children together. The recently posted snap which was captured earlier this year shows her smiling as she places one hand up to her chin to give her followers a clearer glimpse of her Uncommon James jewelry - she sports her brand's rings, earrings, and necklaces in the picture.

She can be seen wearing her wedding rings from Cutler, which confirms that the image is older. Crossing her tanned legs, The Hills star wore a beige and off a white outfit that included shorts and a blouse. To enhance the overall elegance of her appearance, Kristin wore strappy heels.

Much to her fans' chagrin, Kristin posted an image of her walking arm in arm with her husband with their backs turned. The caption she added to this image confirmed that the pair have decided to get a divorce after 10 years of living together.

Moreover, the actress said despite deciding to part ways, they have a lot of love and respect for one another and appreciate the years spent together making memories, and the children they both are proud of. She urged her fans and media to respect their privacy as they deal with these difficult times without their family, Daily Mail reported.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler share children Camden, 7, Jaxon, 5, and Saylor, 4. If a recently surface report is anything to go by, the divorce isn't likely to go that smoothly. On Monday, TMZ reported that Kristin has demanded full custody of the kids, reducing Cutler's contact to occasional visitation.

The divorce papers that were filed at a Nashville court on Apr. 7, Kristin accused Cutler of 'guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct.' Furthermore, she claimed any misconduct implied against her in the complaint about divorce was nothing more than a response to and/or due to the misconduct of Cutler.
