Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a lucrative deal with Netflix last summer.

But immediately after their multiyear deal with the streaming giant was announced, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a slew of criticisms.

Some royal experts were shocked to learn that Prince Harry agreed to team up with Netflix even though he and his wife made it clear that their upcoming projects will be inspirational.

During an interview with ITV’s Good Morning Britain, royal expert Angela Levin admitted that she was also surprised to hear about the Sussexes’ partnership with Netflix.

Levin also said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are naïve to think that Netflix won’t ask them to spill the dirt on the royal family. After all, this is what will bring the streaming platform money.

Additionally, the royal expert said that it was probably Markle that asked her husband to sign the deal with her because she’s desperate for cash. But at the end of the day, they still made the wrong decision to team up with Netflix.

Levin said that a lot of things that Prince Harry and Markle have been doing in recent months have been wrong. And she’s not the only one that thinks this way.

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan lashed out at Prince Harry by calling him hypocritical. After all, he’s working with the streaming platform that recently showed Princess Diana in a negative light in The Crown.

According to Morgan, the Duke of Sussex is accepting money made from humiliating his mother. In his column for Daily Mail, Morgan also said that Prince Harry has been saying that he doesn’t want history to repeat itself with the media’s treatment of Markle.

But he’s partnering up with Netflix, who’s been exploiting Princess Diana’s memory.

As of today, Prince Harry and Markle still haven’t cut ties with Netflix. This means that the programs that they will produce for the site are still a go.

According to Express, the only thing that the Duke of Sussex has done is to demand Netflix not to cover him and Markle in The Crown.

While speaking on talkRADIO, Levin said that she asked Prince Harry if he and the royal family watch The Crown, and he said yes.

But Archie’s dad also said that he will ask the creators of the series to wrap things up before their storyline reaches Prince Harry and Markle’s love story.
